What the tool does
The service extracts public caption data when it is available, formats transcript rows with timestamps, and creates export files for spreadsheets, notes, subtitle editing, and AI workflows.
About the service
YouTubeTranscriptOnline helps people turn available YouTube captions into readable transcript text and structured CSV, TXT, SRT, and VTT downloads.
The service extracts public caption data when it is available, formats transcript rows with timestamps, and creates export files for spreadsheets, notes, subtitle editing, and AI workflows.
The service does not download YouTube videos, access private accounts, or bypass private video access. Videos without accessible captions may not produce a transcript.
YouTubeTranscriptOnline is operated by Paurhi Digital Services. For support, corrections, privacy questions, or partnerships, email digitalservices@paurhi.com.
Guides on this site are written to help users understand caption availability, transcript formats, timestamps, CSV exports, and responsible transcript use. We aim to keep pages practical, specific, and updated as the tool changes.
Submitted video URLs are used to retrieve public caption data. Transcript cache files may be stored temporarily to improve speed and reduce repeated proxy traffic for the same public video.
