YouTubeTranscriptOnline converts public video caption data into transcript text and CSV files. We do not ask for an account and we do not intentionally collect personal YouTube account data.

Data We Process

When you submit a video URL, the server uses that URL to request available public captions and return transcript exports. Temporary extraction files are deleted after conversion. Public transcript results may be cached by video ID to improve speed and reduce repeated proxy traffic.

Analytics and Ads

This site may use lightweight internal event logs, Google Analytics, and advertising partners such as Google AdSense. Those providers may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies. Internal event logs are used to understand aggregate tool usage, failures, and cache performance.
